About Us
Why We are the Best Clinic?

Why PhysioCare?
The last 2-3 decades has seen lifestyle changes across all age groups which has resulted in an increase in ‘lifestyle disorders’ such as stroke, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, road traffic accidents, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, sports injuries, developmental disorders, Parkinson’s, osteoporosis, loss of balance, falls etc. These lifestyle disorders result in loss of function, dependence and consequent disability.
Challenges faced by the patients:
Disability can compel a person to stay at home thus affecting moods, overall health and relationships with family, friends and employers.
Lack of adequate quality services, resources, special transport, duration and cost of treatment are some of the challenges faced by the patients.
Our Initiative:
Physiotherapy plays a critical role in medical rehabilitation. The treatment is planned keeping in mind the medical diagnosis, the functional need of the patient, the impairments involved, the surroundings of the patient etc.
Physiotherapy can move a person from ‘dependence to independence’. Recognising the challenges faced by the patients, the GSBS Medical Trust in its Golden Jubilee year conceived the idea of establishing well-equipped Physiotherapy Centre called PhysioCare Centre in its existing medical centre at J.N Wadia Dispensary in Mahim, which is a residential area in central Mumbai, with residents from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
The existing centre at Mahim includes Consultations in the fields of Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology , ENT, Cardiology, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Diet and Nutrition etc. as well as Dental and Pathology services. The services at PhysioCare Centre are provided by well qualified and experienced physiotherapists at affordable rates as compared to the premium rates charged in multispecialty hospitals and other private clinics.
